Umiko in Japanese means child of the sea. This super cute mini courier is made from end of roll Denim, raw leather and brass hardware. Each piece is hand distressed by me with frayed edges, bleaching and as a result no two pieces are alike with the indigo seeping into the leather and canvas bearing witness to the tough love. Absolutely unique in design, designed and obsessively developed in Covid when I had far too much time on my hands.
Made solely by me for a few years up until this point, I have now handed it over to my two bag artisans in Bali to make it 100% more functional… I have my limits it would seem. Each bag will still be hand distressed and uniquely dyed by me. No two are the same. The bag straps are made in Melbourne by me.
This is not a factory made product. All that I design and produce is handmade in a small studio by my two artisans and myself so please bear that in mind when asking about the price. We are not a mass producing brand ♥️♥️♥️
